Overall
I visited Ailola Cape Town about 2 months ago and stayed for 4 weeks. I definitely improved my English during that period. Though the maximum number of students is 10, in my class have been always less students. So it was a really good learning experience. Before traveling to South Africa I was a bit scared because in the German media are written a lot of bad articles about robberies, violence, etc. The school is located in Sea Point, one of the best and safest areas of the city. Nothing happened to me and my co-students. What I liked most have been the great views from the classroom which made it much easier to concentrate. The teachers have been very helpful and professional.

I stayed with a local family. Often I had breakfast with them in the morning and could practice a bit my English. The homestay was organized by the school, too. It was located in the same area just about 8 min. from the school away.

I participated in some activities. Unfortunately I didn't have the time to travel to Kruger National Park or do a Safari. However in Cape Town are so many things to do that you can easily spend 4 weeks there and doing each week different activities.

It was one of the best journeys I did so far. I will definitely return one day to South Africa to travel through the country (Garden Route, Kruger NP, etc.).

Overall
I am Russia person who received this course when I visit with family in Cape Town.  I am now working in Washington DC with nonprofit group.  I had some basis for English language but had forgotten too much.  The course was more a "refresher" for me that enabled me to feel confident speaking with my American coworkers.  I received beginner instruction.

Pros
I think the program is very good and the materials useful.
Cons
I don't have a con with the school.  Some of the students were not as hard working but that is not school's fault.
