Overall
I already have a Bachelor degree from Film Department of Aristotle Univeristy of Thessaloniki and currently I am a PhD candidate at the same School and University. I know that most of the teachers there are professionals and my own personal assisstant Professor is always very willing to help at anything. Life at camprus is beautiful and you can find very interseting and creative talents among students. Being a PhD Candidate AUTH is an overall very positive and productive experience.

Enjoying uni life in Thessaloniki
PAVLINA I
Greece,
Pharmacy, 2022
Overall
Most of the teachers in my field are well experienced and help their students achieve their goals. Nice campus in the centre of Thessaloniki, has library and restaurant with 3 meals per day. The gym is also quite well. The students form groups for extracurricular activities like theatre clubs, cinema nights, open bars and research groups.

Travel as much as you can. The country is fantastic! Beware of taxi drivers (they'll try to get as much money as possible). Apart from that, just enjoy your stay. Tavernas (typical restaurants) are cheap and VERY good!

It's a pretty good university for it's situation (near the sea and not too far from the mountain!). You have a large choice of courses.

Greece is a good choice because as it's not very very organized, you will have to manage by your own most of the time. Moreover, as far as Europe is concerned, you will meet a completely different mentality in Greece.
