“This university is only good for Thais”

Overall
To Assumption University, First off, I would like to tell you that we foreign come to study at your campus so that we get better job not just studying because of your fancy building. You attract many young students from countries such as India, China, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Africa, Laos etc. by marketing yourself with your beautiful campus and deceive young students. You don't inform to foreign students about law on Hiring Foreigners to work in Thailand. No foreign students would ever study at your university or any universities in Thailand if they knew about hiring policy in Thailand.
I have graduated from your university in 2017 and I never got any responses when I applied for job in Thailand. Turns out that Thai government has a double standard law priotizing Thai citizens first in the workplace and not giving any priority to foreign students who graduated in Thailand!!! I got to know all these by the time I graduate which is too late. I went to ask for advice to the President of the university BROTHER BANCHA. He never allowed me to walk into his office and his secretary cursed me in Thai and made me get out of the campus.
Studying at Assumption University for foreigners is NOT WORTH IT.
We should Better study elsewhere such as Canada where you can study at same cost and also get work permit after graduate.

Being Among the Top institutions situated in the Hearts of the city Assumption University of Thailand in one of the fist International university in Thailand. The Group of international students present in the university makes in exclusive from the other institutions situated thus given out the best of the class education.
My overall experience at ABAC has been amazing, I just cant describe how friendly everyone was here, and how amazing all the teachers are. ABAC is an amazing university to be in as well as being able to study well with the help of lectures and also being able to get to know everyone very easily as it's a small university were you can get to know everyone really well.

Organizational disaster, Mostly incompetent teachers with extremely inflated egos. Not allowed to ask any questions in class. Staff seems to enjoy publicly humiliating students. Complaints filed by students only results in a target on their back. I witnessed 5 students quit because of this.
International for namesake. Education standard shockingly low, most thai teachers cant speak english. Please note this is a generalization, there are some great thai teachers there too. But 1/30 is not a good ratio.
International affairs was the most racist department. I will avoid mentioning the details by race, but there are pre-defined preferences and hierarchies. Certain races will require additional checks and documentations. The admission form has "Race" and "Religion". Caucasian and Catholic is the holy grail.
All announcements are done in thai, every poster is printed in thai. Failing to comply to mandatory announcements that were made in thai are punished. They make sure foreigners are the Aliens. Segregation is open, they dont even pretend to hide.
You can go to classroom without a paper or pen, but you better tuck your shirt inside! Its all just a grand show. I am appalled by my experience.

0 support from uni regarding internship or career development of any sort. There is an assigned advisor who does not advise at all. Absolute 0 guidance and abundant misinformation. You can get better advice by buying a beer for a stranger at a bar.

The faculty: Lots of teachers teach in Thai though the course supposed to be taught in English. Some teachers do not know how to teach. Most teachers do not what they are teaching, they are reading from the book. If you have any question about the lecture, forget it!
Campus staff are rude and they do not care. They even have have the gut to tell you that they do not care.
Bancha is the most arrogant and despicable clergyman I have met. His secretary is rude and arrogant, she curses students in Thai.
Campus activities: International students are not accepted to join any other clubs but the international students club. If they allow you to join other club, they just "forget" informing you whenever the club has activities.
Work opportunity: ZERO. This is because the law in the country that make it difficult for foreigners to get a job. It does not help if you graduate from Thailand, either. Unless you are a white men then you can teach English. If you are POC, no luck.
Discrimanation based on skin color and nationality is rampant and the campus does not combat it.
