Academic
Course recommendations
Our courses were arranged by our professor, who has personal links there - so it probably wouldn't be the same unless you were from the University of Alberta. But the course subjects were fine - it was just that the professors obviously weren't very interested in us or our classes. The classes were basically a joke so that we could spend more time doing our own thing.

More interaction with local students would be nice, but it's hard because of the language barrier.
