Perhaps I would have appreciated meeting someone who had already been in the same place and who was from my same nationality

Final comments

Travel as much as you can because Holland is located in a great place in Europe and if you come from the Sounth be prepared for the cold weather and especially for the wind. Be ready to have a bike as your best friend, it will take you everywhere and you will depend on it a lot.
