canada is really much different from europe and especially montreal has nothing to do with france, when you go there forget they are supposed o speak french and open your mind

If you are a French speaking native, you would need to have strong English bases because the courses are taught in this language. Nevertheless, according to Quebec Law, papers can be written in English or French.

There are lot's of places to go : - Café Campus : best disco - Deux Pierrots : a traditional dico with quebecer songs. - Lots of restaurants from everywhere in the world. I like the "soup and noodles" : very cheap asians restaurants.

It was amazing that when I arrived to Montreal I didn speak any french and after five months I felt very confident at least for the basic things. About the english I feel I improved dramatically specialy my vocabulary and fluency.
