Copenhagen Business School (CBS)

It didn't occur to me that a lot of exchange students were going to be travelling in Scandinavia and rest of Europe. Otherwise I would have saved up more money for travelling.

It's a great univerisity. It is one of the best universities/business schools in Scandinavia. Everything is very well organized for the exchange students. If there were any problems, the International Office was always ready to help. The university itself is very beatiful, it has a nice architecture.

I didnt realise how bitingly cold Copenhagen can be in January! Also I didnt know how widespread the use of bikes was. If you have a bike you can take with you, do. I bought mine out there at a bike auction, however as you dont really know what you are buying this can lead to problems. The bargain I bought kept needing fixed and I would have spent the same buying a new one!! Also, until you have been there a whil you don't really know where is good to go out - a good website with an english translation is www.aok.dk

If you have a chance to study on exchange here, jump at it. It is a lovely city, with good accommadation and a big International Student community. The international office at the school are very helpful and organised.
