Danish is very difficulkt to pick up even though you are good at languages because it's not pronounced as it is written, unlike Swedish. The Danes all speak english so there is no incentive to learn it.

Danish is not an easy to learn language because it requires verbal effort. Even if on written I was having great knowledge, I was alays having hard times to understand the spoken language. Fortunatelly, English is very well spoken in Denmark and I did not have any problems excepting in the social life.
