Ireland is a nice country. You can travel around easily by car, but mind the narrow roads. Dublin is a developing city. Unfortunately the traffic is horrible and the bus system too. They're currently building a tramnet. The school is nice too, but as mentioned things need their time.

Personal spending habits
Prices in the supermarket were even lower than in Spain in some products. I used a lot my mobile but I didnt spend more than 20 e per months,Meteor was the company I used there cause it has really good rates. About housing, I spent 275 e per month for a shared room....terrible! Nightlife was a bit more expensive than in Spain, but there are no problems if u know where to go each day.

Be aware of the academic fields you study. As for me, business studies was grant. But other fields may not be as great.

Have a go, go to Ireland. The people are nice, the weather is not that bad (and I did leave on the Mediterranean cost!) No bad surpises in sight.

There is nothing really important to tell about. I didn´t have any problems or surprises, the biggest advice is to warn people that Ireland is not the poor country many people think, but it´s a wealthy country where most of the things are really expensive. I have to say, however, that roads, public transport and other facilities must be improved).

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Because it is better to be independant and living with native people is the best way to learn a language.

Housing in the university is quite good, clean, well organised, but the problem is that after midnight only people that live on the campus can enter the accomodations. that is not an advantage for student social life.
