Personal recommendation
Very good academic staff and great study spirit. The students are so motivated you have really fun attending lectures and seminars. The only negative thing is that access to academic sources is quite pour. The library is rather empty and internet databases are not free for students as they are in Leuven.

Travel as much as you can! Night trains are a good way to save money. Prague, Bratislava, Vienna, Sarajevo,.. I visited them all with my German flatmate Maren. And now we're back home we visit each other and are planning more trips :-)!

International community and experience

Overall
It has been a difficult time for all of us but ELTE has a diverse community that is willing to welcome you from all around the world. The teachers are very educated and professional. During this online education time teachers stayed inspiring and helpful which made me feel welcomed. It is a great university if you want to have that special experience of a diverse community as well as studying in your field with a help of understanding teachers and staff. The campuses are located in different places of the city depending on your field of studies and have a great learning space and libraries.

Academic
Course recommendations
Very interesting and a lot of work but I learned so much, not only about English Linguistics but also about Hungarian life and culture. I was the only exchange student and had a lot of contact with local communities. I also played theatre on the campus. It was just great! I am still missing it every day :-) and am looking forward to going there another time.

Personal comments
The quality of exams was too low compared to the level of the courses during the semester. I was disappointed after the exam period.. I put so much effort in it, which was not necessary if you look at it now.
