Personal comments
Try to cook at home at times!- if you think it is boring invite some friends! Keep your eyes open for happy hours and free entrance flyers. Don't shop for clothes in Corte Ingles. Snacks can be very expensive as well. Watch out for sales.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Residence was not really cheap and it would have been hard to commute backa nd forth at night when the buses has stopped running. Although at residence you have more amenities and internet access and the like available and you get to meet a lot of otehr exchange student. However, if yo want to practice your spanish it might be better to rent an apartment with a spanish individual.

In Korea no one use other languages. so it's quite hard to learn and speak them fluently. In january when I came in Barcelona, I barely spoke spanish. so from january to march I took classes which were given only in english. But I learned spanish in EUROCENTER, an institute for language and practiced it with my friends. so from april up to now I'm in course in spanish.

I wish I had known...
I wished I had known more time in advance that I was going to Barcelona. Then I would have studied more Spanish in advance and my Spanish would have been even better.

ESADE is a well-organised university. It is small and if you are there only for a short period it is certainly an advantage, because you get to know lots of people.

Barcelona is a wonderfull city to live in. Life there is amazing and if you go there you should try every aspect of it. The cultural things, the nightlife, the streetlife, places in region like the Dali museum and Cadaques and so on.
