I should have arranged a flat from the start of my stay in Barcelona instead of waiting until the second month to find one. The Residencia that I lived in for the first month was very nice, but the price was outrageous.

I lived in the old part of the city and had good access top shops, bars and everything needed. Only that it was a little bit dirty and old - still it was ok and kind of cheap.

Although the cleanliness could have been better, the location of my apartment was really good for being at the same distance from Esade and downtown. Moreover, Esade had no campus!

You do not have the opportunity to live on campus, the rent for an appartment is not too expensive and if you have the opportunity to share an appartment it is both social and affordable.

It's interesting to share a place with people of an other nationality, you can learn an other culture, language... and you have also your freedom and space what you maybe not have in a familiy
