ESADE offers free Spanish courses. They are great and very proffessional. It was the best opportunity to be ready for the courses and social life. I highly recommend it.

I took one class in Spanish and the rest of my business courses in English. The opportunity to take the exam in English was very helpful in my spanish-language course.

My stereotype of the Spaniards before I went to Barcelona was that they were outgoing, friendly types. My experience revealed them as family-based, introverts with little real interest in striking up a relationship with 'outsiders' and 'foreigners'. Faculty make an effort on this score but step off campus and it is a different kettle of fish.
