I wish I had known...
that the student home (the old one) is not nice to live in! i would have looked for a place to stay myself.

i would not go back because the courses are really bad (you learn nothing)-and it can be very gray and sad were the university is (outside of town-petrazalka). i had problems with accomodation. just took it because it was not too far from home (vienna).I would not recommend going there if you are from somewhere else.

Slovakia is a beatiful country with a beautiful nature and nice people who know how to have fun and enjou their lives. Slovakia has also a great position laying right in the middle of the Europe which makes accesse to many other Europena countries (e.g. from Bratislava it is just an hour by car to Wienna and Budapest).

Overall
Studying Intercultural communication at University of Economics was the best programme in humanities I could choose in Slovakia. During my 5 years at this university I cam across various disciplines - economics, international relations, linguistics, literature, translation. It greatly contributed to my personal growth, my confidence in speaking in public and broadened my horizons.
