To follow the courses you need to have more than basic German language skills. After hard, hard work I managed to understand and even write assignments and examinations.

This is definitely a university for people who don't like big anonymous universities. You will have to work hard for the academic part of your studies and on the same time will enjoy a lot of social life.

This is a very personal university, where it is very easy to get in contact with students and lecturers. They care for you and I found a lot of friends. The city of Remagen is rather small but you are in 20 or 30 minutes in Bonn, Cologne and Coblence.

There are some cheap supermarkets at Remagen, where you get everything you need. Buy a German prepaid-telephone-card (ask international office)

Pourquoi?
I studied at RheinAhrCampus Remagen, a part of Fachhochschule Koblenz. In October 2004 opened a newly built dormatory. Would be good to be together all the time with many students.

The dormatory is completely new and well equipped. Costs are affordable. I will stay the next semester at Remagen, too and many of my friends will be living at the dormatory. To share a private apartment with other students was very comfortable, too.

Don't miss the Pool Party in July, organized by students in a big publik swimming pool. Apart from many private parties visit Bonn, Cologne and Coblence (20 to 45 min. distance by car or train)
