Buckhead is my favorite area. The Living Room on Thursdays night is a must if you like Salsa. The Leopard Lounge is a very good place to chill out. And, every Friday evening, try the Rocky Mountain on 10th Street...plenty of (weekend-like) students!!

Because....life here is expensive!! I haven't changed my living standards, the things I usually do at home are much more expensive here!

Final comments

Travelling is also quite expensive in the US, because you always have to fly due to the long distances. Make use of all the services provided by the University. They are usually very good in the clubs they maintain, career services, health services, athletic/sports facilities...
