The city is quiet small and it has got only a small center too anyway the pubs , discos are all nice, you can find all kind of ages there from the 16-60yrs

There was great effort to get us to learn Finnish with Finnish language and culture lessons which were interesting. Most Finnish people have Finnish as their second language so communication was OK, just a little lack of confidence from some people, I guess they dont get the opportunity to speak to many English people over in Hameenlinna.

everyone in Finland speaks English of some sort, so with a mix of basic Finnish and English you can get around really easily! Kiitos!

it takes about three years to learn, and really understand the finnish language, my five months has hardly had any affect, but I still remember some. Five months in Spain but be more succesfull, but hey how many people can say : Mita Kuulu?
