The organization of the accomodation is perfectly done by the host university. The dormitory was a good place to meet people from all over the world, but not from Iceland.

Prices were quite high at the beggining of my stay but the exchange rate ISK/€ fell down because of the financial crisis that struke Iceland in November 2008 so since then my own economy went a lot better.

Final comments
If you travel around you should use a 4-wheel-drive because Icelandic roads are in a very bad condition. But all in all, Iceland is a really facinating country and you shouldn't miss it!!
