Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?

Type of housing: With a family
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House

Renting a room with a family can be increadible expensive. If you can find someone to rent an appartment with it will probably be a lot cheaper.

The International office gave me a lot of help when I was looking for a place to stay which was really nice. The place I finally found was not so good but it was OK.

The price was and is more and more expencive, but beside this problem (cost of living is much higher then in Italy) I can spend only good words about accomodation at University of Iceland.

Personal comments
The accomodation for students from other continents were close to the school, whilst scandinavian and european students were placed far away from the university.
Otherwise the stay was great and the university itself pretty good.
