The apartments in student houses were after a renovation when I arrived - kitchen and the rooms were clean.

The student club KY owns student houses and allocates appartments to students. I knew my address much in advance and got the key at the airport on arrival.

Most students lived in the apartments and it was a great way to start meeting people but also have your own space in an apartment.

The district was awful. It is considered as the place with the highest suicide rate in Finland. Good atmosphere among exchange students. A lot of parties, talks, trips with them. What I really appreciated is that I didn't do anything else than to pick up a location on a paper and the host university found the place. Great!!!
