Try to find a bar where the prices aren`t that high, because in Brussels there are bars where you pay 1 euro (celtica, irish pub till midnight)for a beer and club where you pay 5 euro`s for a beer.

try to travel and see as much as possible in the biginnig of the semester(if you stay for only 1 semester), because latter you will have to do projects, stydy and so on, so there will be less time for having fun

social life in a campus is great... in the meantime rooms where single, so privacy, when recquired, is possible! The location was also optimal, close to a forest, although I was a bit far from the center,

I would come back specifically in Jette because in the end I got addicted and now I really love it and miss it so much!!! However, at the beginning, my personal commentary was " i don't want to stay here for more than 2 days" !!!!!!!!!!!! But it was only a matter of impact (the building is grey surrounded by corves and clouds, smellinh bad at the entrance and inside empty and grey.....
But once you start to live there, you get charmed!! And what's beautiful, it's that you don't expect it at all!!! if you think I'm crazy, well... I'm not the only person thinking this wayafter jette experience ;)!!!!!!!!!!

Brussels is a biligual country. That's why if you know French or Dutch it would help you in daily life and of course in education. But if you know English you can face with some little difficulties but no more than this.
