I improve my english for sure. In fact we evolve in an international progamm with just foreign students from all over the world. Consequently we always speak english ( and not Dutch).

as no one was speaking French and I had some bad comments about french culture, i had to struggle a bit. after several times it was alright, dutch people were more interactive.

Dutch trains are very strict. Make sure u purchase a Korting/Discount card, it get u 40% discount.

Purchase a Train Discount card, try to learn the language, try something new, u may not like it at first but you can grow into liking it for e.g. music, language, food.

I found the Netherlands to be a very inexpensive country compared to the UK and did not change my buying habits, the cost of goods and services were just less expensive

In the Netherlands it is quite difficult to practice the language because people change to English or German when they find out that you do not speak their language.
