The Institute has a trilingual curriculum and while my French was polished a lot,my German skills improved remarcably through our two months stay in Germany(Berlin and Rostock) where the courses were entirely taught in German. My German is now considerably improved conversationally.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I found living on my own a fulfilling experience and quite comfortable, much more so than living in a host family or on campus, especially while pursuing research at the graduate level.Besides, my current school does not have a campus.

Personal comments
Since housing was arranged by myself independetly from my current university I am satisfied with the outcome. However I know that colleagues found appartments through the university and were quite pleased, despite the steep Nice prices.
