Istanbul Teknik Unversitesi (ITU)

ITU has a main campus which is described as the 7th most beautiful and green campus in Europe and Asia and has several historical campuses that are centered in the middle of Istanbul, Turkey's Metropol city.
The education system is a little bit rusty but still reputable and gives a direction to Turkey's reliable projects and scientific developments.
ITU is one of the most crowded universities, so social life is really colorful and you can find any type of personality.

The school itself is pretty well-known around Turkey and it lives up to the hype. But not all the professors are willing to use the right materials for the classes they teach, and some of them just do not really deserve to teach at a school that has such a good reputation around the country. The instructional plans for all majors are pretty appropriate and comprehensive.

This 76 years old Turkish higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. ITÜ also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, study abroad and exchange programs, online courses and distance learning opportunities, as well as administrative services.

I am generally glad about my university since it is one of the best universities in Turkey. They have opportunities for their students to find a good job in their home country and also to go abroad. I had done an Erasmus period in Hamburg thanks to the agreement of my university.

I spent six months at ITU and during this time I did M.Sc thesis. The wireless communications lab  environment was very good for international students, staff and professors were really cooperative.  Moreover, Istanbul beauty is fascinating and make it an ideal place for ERASMUS student.

I had an amazing experience studying at Istanbul Technıcal University. The academic programs offered by this institution are top-notch, with a diverse range of majors to choose from. The faculty members are knowledgeable and passionate about their subject areas and are always willing to help students succeed.
