There was no problem to make myself understand. Even if I had not spoken the swedish language before, english is very common there, everybody understood me. And my knowledge is swedish improved a lot as well.

People in Jonkoping are open and ready to speak with you, especially students and old people. I improved my language skills in the area of my studies, as well as everyday language and some sort of slang.

Most Swedes are very good in the English language and they like to speak English. You can do everything in Sweden only with knowing English. Usually Swedes just switch to English language when they notice that you are a foreigner. Therefore it's hard to practise the Swedish language.

There were many exchange student so we could not interact with local people so much and also they were speaking very English very well that's why any of use did not struggle to use local language.

The environment was perfect because all the students were fluent in english. Moreover, I had the cahnce to get to know better the local and the rest of the cultures gather in Jönköping.

I was communicating mostly in english. I also tried to kearn a bit of Sedish but didnt succeed much( Although almost all Swedish speak very good english so there was no problem at all
