The Johann Wolfgang Goethe University is very huge, well arranged, but there are a lot disciplines missing.

Particulary the teaching studies don´t offer a lot of practical Courses and have no chronological order.

So there is no leitmotif in the studying. Which is in my opionion a big minus for such a famous University.

I got to learn a lot of new people and developed critical thinking and research skills (qualitative and quantitative research methods).
I also could develop and practice my German skills, despite the fact that the MA Program itself was entirely in English, because I was working in the research center at the university, where the working language was German.
