Program for international students is an English program that is also followed by Finnish students, therefore communication was not a problem.

Final comments
Distances in Finland are big, so a car is usefull. However public transport is well arranged. Kajaani is a small student town with few pubs, social life depends on yourself and fellow students. If you love nature this place is perfect.
