It is an open university with students all around the world. I believe it is the greenest, because one of the faculties has an inner garden and another uses sun power for creating heat and electricity.

Netherlands is in the middle of Europe. So, traveling will be possible in any direction. The country isn't so large, therefore in two hours you can reach any point by public transportation.
Even if everyone says that the weather is uncomfortable, during the time spent here I didn't care about the weather. The activities were too much fun.

I had no information before going to Nijmegen, and that was even better. I think I had more fun that another who knew how fun would he have there.

The only place I have been an erasmus student is in Nijmegen, but I definately know is the best place to go as an Erasmus. Students city, use of bikes, so you do not depend on buses, quite big, but not small arroung 140.000 inhabitants, so you can go from one place to another with a few minutes

start to enjoy as soon as you arrive, don't miss any trip, nijmegen is in the center of europe, you can easily go to germany, france belgium, england, denmark, poland...
learn dutch and live the experience as if tomorrow would be the last day...

Buy yourself a bike, as soon as you arrive, and also at least one huge lock!!! Never forget to lock your bike! Buy yourself a "voordeel uren card" when you arrive, as you can travel by train with a reduction of 40%
