“A place where I learnt to grow”
Charlotte M
France,
Management Science, 2024
Overall
King's College London is at the heart of London, where I had the opportunity to meet people from different parts of the world. It's an enriching experience as we are sharing our differences and habits.
The teachers are really helpful, benevolent and cultivated. However, we are really autonomous and as a student, I learnt how to focus on the things I like and how to work for them really hard.
King's College London, is a place full of opportunities where I had the opportunity to be Chairman of the impact investing society. Students share their passions and knowledge and it is truly rewarding to be in of the societies.

Careers
My school offers career advice, however it does not provide us with internship opportunities. It its really hard as it is very competitive. I have spent hours and months on internship research that turns out to be fruitless because of the competition and my young age. I am highly motivated and believe in myself, so I keep fighting hard.

I wish I had known...
I wish I had known about internship oppotunities in London, since some of them need to be applied in 6 months beforehand.

In my opinion:
I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.

Personal recommendation
This university is rather disorganised, but if you are an independent person, this would not cause any troubles.

“Good university, poor administration”
Giacomo B
France, Undergraduate
Development Studies, 2018
Overall
I enjoyed the location and prestige of KCL. However, the poor administration meant that I had no personal contact with my tutor and often felt like there was no support system. It is normal to feel anonymous in a large university but this feeling was intense at King's. Additionally, I did not have lectures for half of my last term at university, hurting my ability to do exams and my dissertation.

It's a great location and has good resources. They are discorganized, but other than that, it's a good place to study.

nothing particular as long as you know you do realise that you are going to live in a very expensive city and be ready for that.

King's College is a deep-rooted, reputable college and regulated by University of London. It is in the best ten in the country according to Financial Times 2003. I was quite satisfied with the college and have no regrets in any field.
