The university offers a wide range of modules and opportunities for growth and diversity of your academic portfolio. Professors range in engagement, with some being extremely dedicated, and others far less so. This is largely due to dissatisfaction of pay.

They do have one person allocated to my degree, but they have been of very little help as I have wanted to work abroad.

It is hard to get accomodation (especially in London) after the first year. You will be guaranteed a place in the first year only. This is the problem with accomodation in London, as it is in the city. Another problem is the cost. One advantage, is being in the city and being able to go around (eg no problem w/ getting home late at night).

It's difficult to find accomodation in London, and this hall was really central, although a bit expensive. There was an accomodation office at the university to help you, which was quite nice. I didn't like some of the Hall rules about guests, but apart from that, the place was quite nice.

The teachers are always willing to help and there's is plenty of events to get involved in. The campus buildings are quite far from each other and there isn't much of a community feeling because of that.

the good thing about king's college is that there are students from everywhere in the world, most of them do not have english as mother tongue. This way, not only are you not treated differently if you have an accent or speak another language, but it also motivates you to learn the "common" language.
