-it is COLD THERE!!! Prepare for that! -it is DARK DARK DARK in Rovaniemi. If you cannot stand it don't go. Although I hate darkness, living with 90 internationals was a great way not to think about it :) -do not worry if Finnish people don't talk with you in English or Finnish - they are just like that!!!

Kuntotie is a fantastic place for international students. I'd love to come back there again. If you're to study at University of Lapland, select to live in Kuntotie.

Everything but the people, who lived there, was actually below my expectations. However we managed to have a fantastic international community, so I was very pleased with housing.

Why?
All international students lived there and even though it was far from the University (40 minutes walking, 15 on bike) it was the best place!!!

I was living with two Polish girls and one old Finnish lady. But it was fun and great experience. We had sauna in almost every building and everything was working really great!!!

all the international exchange students were put in the same street. It was very nice because it brought a special international atmosphere. The housing was very good.
