I was studying economy and finance  just before the 'iron curtain' fell in Soviet Union. Most teachers were the old camp , however, Marketing course was tought by Mr Fortins who himself was involved in one of the first semi- private companies. This was awesome  - finally you could learn the during the day and implement  the same during afternoons.  most students from my group was involved in some private initiatives.

The quality of education is comparatively high and teaching each course with appropriate course program assembled and employed by professors !

The best Professors and the lecturers are smart and kind. I highly recommend to others to study in the University of Latvia.
