Personal spending habits
Under the point of view of the accomodation I spent there less than at home because they have lower prices in general for that kind of things as well as for thips because people under 26 can have some facilities. For what concern food and telephone I think I spent more because of the cost of life (almost higher in sweden than in Italy)

Get involved in the student unions, go out, make an effort to socialize with Swedes, they are very nice.

Swedish is a pretty easy language. If you want to learn you can, there are courses available everywhere. But the danger is Lund is that you speak English allt he time, with international students, teachers and even Swedes. Try to interact more with the locals and insist on speaking Swedish. You will also be accepted more easily.
