Appartments were too crowded: I lived with five other students in an appartment. All exchange students suffered from a lack of privacy. Not good!

Since Marquette is not right downtown, it offers just a small amount of pubs and extra-curricular activities. Pubs close at 2 am ! Be sure to check out the typical homeparties! That is were the action is!

For starters, a final week of examinations is too short. Every day an examination demand a lot more preperation than you have. Examinations throughout year were OK though.

Be sure to check out Chicago, Illenois. Sixflags the amusent park. Michigan for its snowy hills.
And if you have the opportunity, buy a car and visit the whole USA like I did. West-coast, route 66 and east-coast. Stop by in Canada and Mexico too! I will never forget this and ow, man, do I miss it!

Let the host university arrange for medical insurance. And pls pls do not pay yourself for the college money. It is insanely high. 20.000 dollars is not the exception, but the rule!
