Academic
Course recommendations
The courses were dissapointing for me. Teaching method in Norway seems to be very old fashioned. They seem to be concerned only with theory rather than practical application. You will learn by heart a lot of models, your own opinion is not relevant for exams

Personal comments
More case studies and higher focus on practical issues. E.g. marketing teacher don't know a lot about real life business. They were always surprised about company examples as they never heard of such cases.. rather poor for a professor

Bergen and Norway are beautiful places. A trip to the Fjords by ship or the famous Norway-in-a-nutshell trip (one-day trip by boat, train and bus starting from bergen)are worth doing. Constant hiking is very recommended: Bergen is not so much a big city than a nice and beautiful location for hikers etc. Norwegians are very nice people who i never experienced as being cold-hearted or difficult to get to know (typical prejudices about scandinavians)
