It was a fantastic experience but you have to work hard, but it is worth it. And besides, I would really like to go to work in a foreign country, since for me just a year it was not enough and I want to go abroad and continue improving my language skills and of course meet interesting people from everywhere.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
The on campus "Corrib Village" apartments are not very good, not very close, and very strict. I am glad I did not live there.

YOU SHOULD GO TO BELFAST, TRY TO TRAVEL EVERYWHERE YOU WANT TO, YOU WILL NEVER EVER HAVE SUCH AN OPPORTUNITY. GO TO CORK, LIMERICK, SLIGO BY BUS, NOT BY TRAIN, TOO EXPENSIVE. TAKE A BUS FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT, CITY LINK OR NESTOR BUS,NOT BUS EIRREAN.

Academic
Course recommendations
English lectures are very big and the only requirement is a 2500 word essay for visiting students, so I would suggest taking as many lectures as possible. English seminars were also pretty good. Classes are for the most part, very boring, but class is by no means mandatory.

The end-of-year essay was the way to go, you get a choice of about 7 different questions and therefore only need to study one particular section in order to pass. In-class exams were quite difficult in my own opinion. I can't say I learned too much at this university, but I had a great time anyway. Class is not a priority for most visiting students!

Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
The location of my apartment was perfect - right in the center of the city.

Personal comments
The 'on-campus' housing is a bit further out of the city than the university itself.
