Final comments

There are a lot of places to travel to, like Mexico, Las Vegas, LA, San Francisco and so on, but either you need a car or have to fly, because most places are too far away for the bus.

NAU is great! it's located in the mountains, so it is not too hot although it lies in arizona. in winter, you can go skiing

A relaxed and friendly atmosphere, even though the accomdation was bit bog standard, you'll meet som many people, and right on the Grand Canyon's doorstep aswell!

Final comments

Don't miss the Grand Canyon. Also try to cram in at least a couple of trips to Vegas, and save up for it so you don't feel annoyed having to sit out, because you've run out of cash!

Overall

NAU offers a great learning experience and has a strong history. Formerly known as the Northern Arizona State Teachers College, it was established in 1899, long before Arizona became a state. It is an accredited university offering a wide range of programs situated on a beautiful campus close to nature. It offers smaller class sizes compared to ASU and U of A, and offers a more personal learning approach

Careers

I did not use the career office services, so I am not sure about the functionality of this office. I always had nothing but positive experiences when dealing with the official university offices, so I can only assume that they offer top notch services like the other offices.

Pros

A small classroom environment, effective and caring professors, and beautiful surroundings with a lot of nature and clean fresh air.
