Personal comments
The housing is great if considered that is a student dormitory, the building is wery well taken care of, the proximity to the school is important, so I do not have any negative critique here!

As all Norwegians speak English very well and my English is fluent, too, I didn´t have any communication problems. Besides that I attended a Norwegian course. Living with families helped me a lot to cope with this language,so that in the end of my study period I was able to speak with Norwegians mostly in their native language.

Alcoholic drinks are incredibly expensive in Norway, especially in bars (and they are uniquely rigid with age control) and that is why students often have their private parties at the student residences. But Grünerløkka is an international and intersting quarter in Oslo and one can find many an interesting night spot there.
