Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I usually join or arrange flat/house shares since I enjoy living with several people. It's more rewarding than being alone.

Personal comments
They do offer very limited help, but there are other facilities to turn to. Still, own initiative is essential in order to find something!!!

Personal recommendation
Don't rely on others!!! Do your own thing & people will join! Be outgoing & communicative & don't wait unnecessary long until others approach you. Most professors/lecturers/teacher are approachable if there is any problem.

Personal comments
Don't mingle too much with international students if you really want to learn the language. Also, if you want a shared accommodation, move in with native speakers if possible so you are forced to learn the language!!! Be outgoing, but cautious of cultural diversity/differences.

Personal comments
Don't live on your own!!! If you intend to go out with friends, meet up at someone's place for a "warm up" since going out (esp. drinking!) is quite expensive!!! Don't take the best of the best unless you can affort it. Rather go for local brands or supermarkets own. The usual really.
