The accommodation we were provided with was good, the area was nice, it was clean, we had a reasonable amount of space and it wasn't too noisy. The only downfall is being a little out of town so it's not as easy to get involved with the other students.

There's lots of time to make trips. Just rent a car with some friends and you can visit the whole country!

Finland is slightly more expensive but also some things are a bit cheaper, so overall is almost the same. Some things, though, are awfully expensive, like bust transport , drinks , etc.

travel tips: rovaniemi, northcape, kuusamo nordic opening, helsinki, helpful advice: learn basic finnish (very interesting), look up information on the internet before you go here(people, culture, climate,...) i liked it, but you should first think about if you like to stay for a few months in a different country,

Get involved in things arranged by the internation office (eg travel, excursions etc) as this works out much cheaper than when organised personally.
