Do not shop at A&P, they rip you off. Live close to campus, it is worth the extra rent, you will save it by not taking cabs. Try to live east of campus as opposed to west, that way you are closer to Princess (downtown).

There are lots of discounts available through the university. Don't forget to collect the coupon-book made available to students in the beginning of the year! Rent cars from Ace: best cars and lowest rates!

As an exchange student I was really lucky to get a room in Harkness, it is a perfect housing for a 4 month exchange even if it's a little expensive.
