Do not shop at A&P, they rip you off. Live close to campus, it is worth the extra rent, you will save it by not taking cabs. Try to live east of campus as opposed to west, that way you are closer to Princess (downtown).

Live in the ghetto, not in rez if you are an international student. Go to the Grad Club. Get involved in campus activities.

Probably the best school for mining engineering in Canada. Friendly and welcoming profs, small class sizes. Very detailed and deep curriculum from industry leaders.

As an exchange student I was really lucky to get a room in Harkness, it is a perfect housing for a 4 month exchange even if it's a little expensive.
