The location is fabulous, and it's very cost-effective and convenient. Plus there's a great feeling of community.

The rooms were/are in the process of renovation, so things are pretty new and spotless. The rooms are spacious and very adequate, with several community bathrooms on each floor. The only thing I didn't like about the rooms is that some of the furniture is permanently attached, so you can't rearrange the room. Since I didn't spend very much time in my room anyway, that really didn't matter much.

The dorms are almost all American study abroad students. If you like dorm life it's pretty much what you'd expect from a dorm. the dorms are part of the college in the park, which is really nice, but you don't get to experience a real London neighborhood and meet locals.

The beds suck, i didn't sleep well most of the time. Even though the dorms were mostly Americans, we did get to know the few europeans that lived there quite well.

Why?
On campus was very convenient for me because I didn't have to buy groceries and cook for myself, which could've been more expensive and/or taken up a lot more of my time than I would have preferred.

Just the fact that I got to live in Regent's Park was amazing. The location is close to everything you need. The rooms were not bad, considering this was my first dorming experience. It's definitely doable.

The dorms are pretty small, but if your only going to be there for a semester its not that big of a deal. The community of students is pretty small and everyone becomes really close--towards the end i got kind of tired of being with all the same people though.
