I saw the rooms of those wiho lived in Studentapartments and they were pretty comfortable and new.

This university didn´t take good casre of the incoming students, the housing was t6oo expensive and you had no choice, they said if you don´t take this then you have to search youself for something else. If they would have said this before we came there it would have been ok but not when we already arrived and had no idea where to go instead.

There is a variety of nice furnished rental appartments available in Rennes. It is possible to find an nicer and appartment with lower rent from the rental markets than through campus accomodation.

I would take an apartment again, but a different one. The one I used to live in was too expensive compared to others.

Well, this university doesn't have its own campus. If you contact the university, they will provide you with information about accommodations. They'll hand you out a list where you can choose between different kinds of accommodations, i.e. apartment, family, ect. I heard good things about living with a family. In my opinion living in an apartment with other international students was lots of fun!
