Final comments
spain was fabulous. loved living in madrid, it's better than barcelona. going to an american university made the transition easier. spend a year not just a semester, and don't come home at christmas.

Academic
Course recommendations
do not take a class from julio lasarte or dr. chaney. for the most part the classes were good, but you have to go into them with a different attitude than from home.

because it was an american university there were many americans and so to interact with the spaniards or other nationalities i had to make an effort. for me, that's not a problem but for some they only hung out with other americans.
