Scripps' scenic 30-acre campus, listed in the National Register of Historic Places, is located at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains in Claremont, California, 35 miles east of Los Angeles. There are 20 buildings on the campus: thirteen academic/administrative and seven residence halls. Twelve additional buildings are shared by all seven of The Claremont Colleges, including libraries, a medical services center, and a bookstore.
