Overall
In my fairly brief, full-time enrollment at SOU I felt continually underwhelmed at the courseworks difficulty and creativity. High school had an eerie familiarity to the school-wide Freshman specific classes. I was bored and ultimately felt I was wasting money knowing the opportunities modern technology has granted.

I lived in Madrone Apartments on campus which is pretty nice and newly built. I would highly recommend NOT to live in the other dorms as they are expensive as well and, compared to Madrone, really bad.

Final comments
Travelling at the West Coast is great! Rent a car during Spring Break and drive down the coast to San Diego, that's what we did, it is amazing. Also Portland is a wonderful city.
