Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: With a family
Why?
All the exchange students I know and who lived with a family were really happy with it since all the families were really nice and helpful. Also I think I would have gotten to know a little bit more of the way people live here if I had lived with a family.

I think the International Office is very helpful and supports you a lot in finding an appropriate accomodation. Also, the families they find for you seem to be very good.

Mexico City is the biggest City of the world. The possibilities of clubbing and bars are are infinite. The best areas of the city for nightlife are: The district of Coyacan (mainly bars), the area of La Condesa (mainly restaurants) and my favorite clubs are: El Colmillo (also La Condesa) and the Pervert Lounge (Centro Historico).

one of the favorite places for us to go was Bar Rio, a great bar that people our age and up were at, had a great feel to it... the repelling club and salsa classes are not to be missed, i had an incredible time doing both, the mexican students were nothing but accomodating and friendly and really welcomed us into their circle
