Bario Antiguo is right down town and offers a wide and diverse selection of clubs, bars, cafes and restarants. My favorite clubs in Bario Antiguo where Don Canteen, and Bar Rio. My favorite area for clubbing, also situated in the richest area in Latin America, San Pedro offer a great range of higher-end clubs and resaurants. All of the resaurants that I have been to were fabulaous, through-out all of Monterrey.

Why?
Residences just off campus have alot of space, come with cleaning services and security. They are also a great way to meet other students.

I love the residence. I stayed in residencias numero 6, which were practically just across the street from school, and relatively close to downtown and all the night life.

Personal spending habits
Food in mexico is quite cheap, not to mention delicious aswell. If I were studyng at home I would be living at my home, therefore not paying any rent. I also found rent at the residences a little overpriced (especially for Monterrey), however, a lot of services were included.

Final comments
Make freiends with as many mesicans as you can. Not only will this help you to learn the language, including all the heavily used salng, but you will also be introduced too many mexican foods, customes and traditions.
