University strongly recommended independent housing while campus was organized mainly for israeli students or special visitors. It was pretty difficult to get some room there.

It wasn't great by any stretch of the imagination. But it was adequate and the people around me more than made up for it~

Everyone speaks English there. I think I learnt 3 new words/phrases the whole time I was there. I did not make an effort to learn the language at all, I did not go there to learn it at all.

If u are not interested in jewish culture, it might be difficult to settle there. Otherwise, it is wonderful experience.

Most Israelis speak a fairly understandable English. The teachers mostly have international experience, and hence their command of the English language is good.
