There is Rosenholm Slot (castle) about 20 km north from Aarhus and Skanderborg (cosy town with three lakes) about 25 km.
This experience changed the way I am. It opened my mind to different cultures and now I am convince I want to go abroad as a worker or as a student once again!

I would suggest to take some basic course in danish before going in denmark. Then you have a better idea of what is going on and it's easier to get in contact with people because they see you are interested in knowing them.
